Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be met and transferred to Arusha. Settle into your accommodation and relax after your international journey as you prepare for the safari adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Fly to Serengeti

After breakfast, transfer for your morning flight from Arusha to the Serengeti. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch before setting out on your first afternoon game drive across the legendary Serengeti plains, searching for the remarkable wildlife that makes this national park famous.

Day 3: Serengeti Safari & Optional Hot Air Balloon

Begin the morning with the option of a spectacular hot-air balloon safari over the Serengeti with Miracle Balloon. Afterwards, continue your Serengeti experience with an afternoon game drive across the plains.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro via Ndutu

Leave the Serengeti in the morning and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue with an afternoon game drive through the Ndutu region before arriving at your accommodation near Ngorongoro.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Spend the morning or full day exploring Ngorongoro, one of northern Tanzania’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations. Enjoy a game drive surrounded by the dramatic scenery and abundant wildlife of this remarkable conservation area.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Mto wa Mbu

After breakfast, transfer from Ngorongoro to Mto wa Mbu, a lively town situated near Lake Manyara. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided town tour and experience the colourful everyday life of this culturally diverse community.

Day 7: Bandari Project Visit

Spend the morning visiting the Bandari Project, gaining an insight into its work with local children and the surrounding community. The visit adds a meaningful community dimension to your Tanzanian journey.

Day 8: Bandari Project Experience

Return to the Bandari Project for a second morning visit, allowing more time to connect with the school and experience the project beyond a brief visit.

Day 9: Maasai Village & Sunset Lake Experience

Begin your day with a visit to a Maasai village for an introduction to Maasai culture and community life. In the afternoon, experience a sunset lake and wildlife tour by tuk-tuk, combining local transportation, scenery and wildlife.

Day 10: Cooking Class – Tarangire

Enjoy a morning cooking class and discover another side of Tanzanian culture through its food. In the afternoon, leave Mto wa Mbu and transfer to Tarangire, where you’ll settle into your lodge ahead of the following day’s safari.

Day 11: Tarangire National Park Safari

Spend the morning or full day exploring Tarangire National Park on a game drive. Enjoy the park’s varied landscapes and wildlife before returning to your lodge for another night in Tarangire.

Day 12: Tarangire – Arusha

Enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire before beginning your journey back to Arusha. Arrive later in the day and settle into your hotel for your final night in Tanzania.

Day 13: Departure

After breakfast, transfer from your Arusha accommodation to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, bringing your Tanzania safari and Bandari experience to an end.
