Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

Later in the day, head to your campsite near Lake Manyara for dinner and a restful night under the stars.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, journey toward Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro highlands. Stop briefly at the Olduvai Gorge, known as the “Cradle of Mankind,” to learn about human evolution (optional and time permitting). Arrive in the Serengeti by midday and embark on an afternoon game drive, witnessing an abundance of wildlife including lions, leopards, elephants, and wildebeests. Settle into your campsite in the heart of the Serengeti, enjoying dinner and the distinctive sounds of the African night.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Begin early with breakfast and embark on a full day exploring the vast Serengeti plains. Seek out predators on the prowl, observe migrating herds, and delight in sightings of diverse wildlife like zebras, gazelles, and cheetahs. Break for a picnic lunch at a scenic location within the park, surrounded by nature’s wonders. Continue your wildlife safari until late afternoon, returning to camp to unwind around the campfire and recount the day’s thrilling adventures.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Rise early, enjoy breakfast, and depart for Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most incredible wildlife arenas. Descend into the crater for an exciting game drive, observing an impressive array of wildlife including elephants, lions, hippos, rhinos, and diverse birdlife. Take a break for a scenic picnic lunch within the crater. In the afternoon, ascend and journey back to Arusha, reflecting on your unforgettable encounters with Tanzania’s remarkable wildlife and landscapes.
